<strong>Description</strong>

The International Plan (IP) is Georgia Tech's globally-focused degree designation, recognizing students who have committed to making global competence a core part of their GT experience. Students are encouraged to apply as first year students and work on completing the IP's requirements throughout their undergraduate degree. Requirements include going abroad for two academic terms (26+ weeks total); showing intermediate proficiency in a language other than English; completing 3 globally-focused courses; and completing a capstone course (which typically overlaps with the major capstone course).
